Nancy Saustad is an accomplished professional in non-profit management and fundraising, currently serving as the Chief Philanthropy Officer and Senior Vice President of Major Gifts at KERA since December 2016. Saustad has also been a Major Gifts Consultant at NWS Consulting since January 2016 and a Development Consultant for Fossil Rim Wildlife Center since December 2015. Previous roles include Vice President of Development at Dallas Zoo and Director of Development at Dallas Zoological Society. Saustad founded NWS Consulting in January 2008 and was the Public Relations Manager at Loews Anatole Hotel from 1989 to 1994. Saustad earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Southern Methodist University and completed education at Hockaday.

KERA is the NPR and PBS member stations for North Texas. We are a not-for-profit public media organization serving North Texas through KERA News, KERA TV, KERA Kids 24/7, Art&Seek, and KERA Learn. We're also the home of Triple-A non-commercial music station KXT 91.7 FM and we manage the century-old classical music station WRR 101.1 FM.
