About the Principal
Warm, compassionate, kind; these words come up often in descriptions of Eileen Kerlin Walsh, J.D. – President & Principal Attorney at Kerlin Walsh Law. But while she may have a gentle manner, she’s also a powerful community influencer and successful entrepreneur. You can add to the list, an internationally recognized author and speaker.

The law practice Eileen founded at her kitchen table in 2001 was included in the Top 20 Estate Planning Law Firms in Chicago and Eileen was also recognized as a Who’s Who Top Attorney of North America. Most recently, Eileen was named one of the 20 Most Inspiring Women Leaders of 2022.

Importance of Estate Planning
Many people believe an Estate Plan is just for the rich. However, the opposite is true. An Estate Plan can benefit anyone at any stage regardless of their assets. An Estate Plan is particularly important if you have minor children, own a business, have remarried, own property or are in your advanced years, to name just a few examples.

People also believe if they signed a will or trust years ago they never need to do so again. But laws, as well as our lives, needs and goals change. Your will and trust may need to be updated for maximum benefit to you.

Our Estate Planning attorneys will determine the most appropriate and up-to-date Estate Plan for you and your needs.
