Based in Solana Beach and Rancho Santa Fe, California, Kern & Company is a premier destination for high end furniture and interior design. Much more than a furniture showroom, Kern & Company is home to Susan Spath Interior Design, a full-service interior design firm headlined by San Diego’s premier interior designer; Susan Spath. For over twenty years, we have been providing Southern California with a curated range of leading brands, custom furniture, bespoke window treatments, distinctive lighting, elegant rugs and accessories. An established name in design, Kern & Company and Susan Spath Interior Design work in tandem to create environments that tell the unique story of the people who live and work in them. Drawing upon a background rich in experience, with some of the industry’s leading brands, we bring to life a distinctive view of contemporary design.

We invite you to experience for yourself what homeowners throughout San Diego, La Jolla and Rancho Santa Fe have known as a destination where “interiors meet design.”
