Jared Sharp

Jared Sharp is an experienced aviation professional with a diverse background in firefighting, emergency medical services, and helicopter operations. Currently serving as Chief Pilot at Kern County Fire Department since June 2020, Jared has previously held roles such as Fire Pilot at Orange County Fire Authority and Pilot at Kern County Fire Department, where responsibilities included search and rescue operations. Additional experience includes piloting EMS operations at Air Methods and serving as Assistant Chief Pilot at Guardian Helicopters Inc., where Jared oversaw pilot training and compliance with regulations. Past roles also include stint as a seasonal tour pilot at Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters and as Assistant Chief Pilot/Base Manager at Mauna Loa Helicopters. Jared holds a Master of Business Administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon.
