Taras Danko

Taras Danko serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at KERNEL since October 2015, bringing extensive experience in IT security. Prior to this role, Taras held the position of IT Security Unit Lead at Volia, where significant advancements included establishing the IT security function and developing comprehensive security policies. Previous roles encompassed IT Security Architect at SITRONICS IT, focusing on SIEM solutions and security consulting, and IT Security Specialist at MTS-Ukraine, responsible for creating corporate security standards and conducting audits. Earlier experience includes IT Security Officer at Golden Telecom, managing internal audits and incident investigations, and Software Developer at System Storage Software, working on network intrusion detection systems. Taras holds a Master's degree in Information Security from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.'
