Catherine Emerson

Catherine Emerson has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Catherine currently works as the Head of Marketing & Customer Strategy at Kernel since July 2019. Prior to that, they were a Podcast Co-Host at It's No Secret, starting in March 2021.

Catherine also worked at Pursue Wealth from March 2017 to June 2019 as a Strategic Adviser, where they created strategic financial plans for clients and played a role in the company's innovation and team development.

Before that, they worked at Affinity Private from June 2015 to January 2017 as an Associate Adviser, providing fee for service advice to high-net-worth clients.

Catherine started their career as an Associate Adviser at Shadforth Financial Group Ltd from November 2012 to May 2015 and previously worked as a Financial Analyst at Dixon Advisory from July 2011 to October 2012.

Catherine Emerson's education history begins in 2001 when they attended Lauriston Girls' School, where they obtained their VCE degree. Catherine then pursued higher education at the University of Melbourne from 2009 to 2011, earning a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com.) with a focus on Finance & Marketing. In 2012, Catherine enrolled at Kaplan Professional and completed a Diploma of Financial Services, specializing in Financial Planning. Afterward, from 2013 to 2015, they attended the Financial Planning Association and obtained certification as a Certified Financial Planner.
