Donovan Patar

Donovan Patar has diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Donovan is currently working as a Senior Test Engineer at Kernel. Prior to that, they worked as a Test Engineer II at Amazon Prime Air from March 2020 to November 2021. Before joining Amazon, Donovan worked at BLUE ORIGIN as a Production Test Engineer II from August 2018 to March 2020. Donovan also has experience working at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) as a Test Engineer and an Associate Test Engineer from June 2016 to August 2018. Donovan's earlier work experience includes a role as a Silicon Validation Engineer at Kelly Services - Intel Relations from November 2015 to April 2016. Donovan also served as a Lead Research Engineer at UBC, where they led a project on "High Energy Density Supercapacitors" from September 2014 to April 2015. In this role, they were responsible for setting goals, managing timelines, and coordinating with the industrial client.

Donovan Patar earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Micro-systems and Nanotechnology from The University of British Columbia. Donovan attended the university from 2010 to 2015. In addition to their degree, they obtained an Amateur Radio Operator Certificate with Advanced Qualifications from Industry Canada / Industrie Canada in February 2013. Donovan also obtained a certification as a Professional Personal Trainer from CanFitPro in June 2013.
