Scott Homan has had a diverse range of work experiences in the field of electrical and circuit design. Scott started their career in 2009 at Leader Technologies, where they focused on schematic and PCB design, PCB assembly, and final product testing. During their time at Leader Technologies, they contributed to the development of various projects, including an Electric Vehicle controller, a PC-controlled solder reflow oven, and plug and play modules for system building.

In 2015, Scott worked as a contract PCB designer at Barber-Nichols Inc., where they specialized in 3-phase high voltage motor controller designs for turbo machinery in the aerospace, spacecraft, and automotive industries. Scott had yearly contracts with the company and enjoyed collaborating with the engineering team.

Scott also had a brief stint at Liqid Inc in 2015 as an Altium Designer. Additionally, they joined CompletePCB.com in 2009, where they held various roles, including Electrical Design Engineer and PCB Designer. At CompletePCB.com, Scott was responsible for tasks such as rigid flex design, power boards, high-speed designs, impedance control, and full project management using Altium Designer.

Most recently, Scott has been working as the Head of Circuit Design at Kernel since 2019. The primary focus of Kernel is to enable improved and accelerated insights into the human brain.

Scott Homan attended the Metropolitan University of Denver from 2010 to 2012. During this time, they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (EET) degree. Scott'sfield of study focused on Electrical Engineering.
