Ava Strohmeyer is an undergraduate pre-medical student at Duke University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a concentration in pharmacology, alongside a co-major in Global Health and a Health Policy Certificate. They are currently involved as a Volunteer Staff member at Duke University Hospital and serve as an Executive Team Member for Kesem, co-heading operations to support youth affected by cancer. In addition, Ava works as a Research Assistant in both the Children's Complex Care Coalition of North Carolina and the Duke University School of Medicine, focusing on disease progression in Chondrosarcoma. Ava completed high school at The Ethel Walker School and participated in a Pre-Baccalaureate program at Brown University in Philosophy.
