Atte Mäkelä

Atte Mäkelä is a Development Manager at Kesko - K-Group, a position held since January 2025. Prior to this role, Atte served as a Senior Data Scientist and previously as a Data Scientist and Junior Data Scientist at Dagmar from May 2018 to December 2024. Atte began the professional career as a Junior Consultant at EP-Logistics Oy from December 2017 to May 2018 and completed an internship as a Giant Leap intern at Vaisala during the summer of 2017. Additionally, Atte worked as a Research Assistant at Aalto University in 2016, contributing to research on private information retrieval and keyword search while also writing a bachelor thesis on the topic. Atte holds a Master of Science in Technology with a specialization in Engineering Physics and Mathematics from Aalto University, completed in 2021.
