Jan Pöschko

Jan Pöschko has extensive work experience in software development and engineering. Jan is currently the CTO and Founder of Ketryx, where they focus on building tools for software development in regulated industries. Prior to this, Jan worked at Wolfram for almost a decade, holding multiple roles including Director of Wolfram Cloud Engineering, Consultant, and Senior System Developer. Jan played a key role in managing the engineering team working on the Wolfram Cloud and was actively involved in coding. Before joining Wolfram, Jan worked as a Contract Software Developer at FH Joanneum, Salomon Automation, and Zeman Bauelemente, where they implemented optimization projects using programming languages such as Python, C++, and GLPK. Jan also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Graz University of Technology, assisting undergraduate students and organizing mathematics courses. Additionally, they gained experience as a Contract Software Developer at Fresenius Kabi, where they optimized packaging processes using Python, and as a Software Programmer Intern at ISA, where they developed various automated warehouse management tools.

Jan Pöschko has a strong educational background in computer science and mathematics. Jan completed their Bachelor of Science Degree in Technical Mathematics at Technische Universität Graz from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science Degree in Mathematical Computer Science at the same university from 2009 to 2012. In 2010, Jan Pöschko also attended KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they studied Mathematics and Computer Science for one year. In 2011, Jan Pöschko had the opportunity to be a Visiting Researcher at Stanford Center for Biomedical Informatics Research at Stanford University.
