John Dedrick

John Dedrick is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the Kettering Foundation, where they provide overall direction for foundation operations and program activities. With over 25 years of experience in strengthening the culture and politics of democracy, John has held various roles within the foundation, including Director of Programs and Vice President and Program Director. They have also contributed as an Adjunct Faculty member at Fielding Graduate University, where they guided doctoral students and co-led workshops on democracy and public engagement. John earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from Rutgers University and holds degrees from William & Mary and Lancaster University.
