Bill Tschirhart currently serves as the Director of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts for the City of Kettering, a position held since December 2024. Prior to this role, Bill was the Chief of Administration at Five Rivers MetroParks from October 2014 to November 2024, where responsibilities included directing administrative functions such as accounting, finance, and human resources, as well as managing fiscal operations and budgets. Bill also served as the Director of Business Services and Business Services Manager in the City of Kettering, overseeing significant departmental budgets and marketing operations. Early career experience included the role of Assistant Facility Manager, responsible for facility maintenance and staff supervision. Bill holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Dayton, and completed an Executive Development Program at Indiana University Bloomington, as well as attending the National Recreation & Park Association's Revenue Development & Management School. Bill earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
