Chris Williams

Christopher Williams, P. Eng. is a Senior Power Systems Engineer at Kevala, Inc. since March 2021, focusing on advanced power systems modeling tools for the smart grid. Prior to this role, Christopher served as a Technical Sales Engineer at VAR.energy, driving the growth of inverter technology for utility-scale solar PV. Christopher's experience includes leading consultancy and analysis at Smarter Grid Solutions, and roles at various institutions, including algorithm development at Zentrum für Sonnenenergie- und Wasserstoff-Forschung and research assistance at Fraunhofer ISE. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy Management from The University of Freiburg and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Western University.
