Mark Ferron

Mark Ferron is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the energy sector and finance. Currently, Ferron serves as a Powerhouse Ventures Investor at Powerhouse, focusing on innovative software solutions for energy and mobility systems. Previous roles include Member of the Board of Trustees at the Rocky Mountain Institute, where a commitment to sustainability was emphasized, and a position on the Board of Governors at California ISO, managing electricity flow and promoting clean energy in California. Ferron also held the role of Commissioner at the California Public Utilities Commission, overseeing a wide range of utilities, and was a Partner at Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund, enhancing non-profit capabilities. In finance, Ferron spent over a decade at Deutsche Bank, ultimately as Chief Operating Officer, and held various vice presidential roles at Salomon Brothers and Bank of America.
