Omar Caldera

Omar Caldera has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Omar currently holds the position of Vice President Operations at Key Technology, Inc., a global leader in food processing automation systems. Prior to this, they worked at The Coca-Cola Company as the Director of Operations, overseeing operations in Wisconsin and Guadalajara at contract manufacturing facilities. Omar also served as the Director of Contract Manufacturing- Americas at The Coca-Cola Company, managing manufacturing operations at Plexus and Sanmina located in the USA and Mexico.

Before their tenure at The Coca-Cola Company, Omar worked at Johnson Electric as the Director of Operations and Program Manager for Operation start-up in Mexico, where they conducted feasibility studies and negotiated incentive plans for the company. Omar also served as the Program Manager for the development of new PC cooling fans, overseeing the implementation and integration of powertrain cooling fan programs.

Earlier in their career, Omar worked at Delphi Automotive Systems as a Project Manager, responsible for the implementation of instrument clusters for automotive applications. Omar also served as a Manufacturing Engineer at Delphi Automotive System, leading the introduction of new products and implementing process improvements in Mexico.

Omar Caldera has a diverse education history. Omar obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Texas at Brownsville, completing their MBA degree in Business from 1998 to 2000.
