Robert Rhodes has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Robert started their career in the US Army, where they worked as a Fixed Cryptographic Equipment Repairman, servicing and repairing secure communications equipment. After their military service, they joined Landis Tool Company as a Machinist Apprentice, gaining experience in the machine shop, engineering facilities, and assembly process.

Rhodes then moved on to Cruise Planners, where they worked as a Partner and Cruise Specialist. In this role, they assisted the franchise owner with trade shows, marketing booths, group escorting, and various technical support tasks, while also obtaining multiple certifications related to the travel industry.

Robert'scareer then led him to Key Technology, Inc., where they held various roles over the years. Robert started as a Field Service Engineer, quickly progressing to a senior level, and was responsible for installing, training, and supporting machine vision systems in the food industry worldwide. Rhodes then transitioned to Applications Engineering, where they integrated and developed solutions for machine vision applications primarily in the food industry. Robert eventually became an Applications Engineering Supervisor/Manager, overseeing the integration of sensors and lighting technologies for viable solutions. Robert'smost recent role at Key Technology was as the Director of Global Applications Engineering, where they created and executed plans to support the sale of the company's optical inspection and material handling solutions, while managing the global Applications Engineering staff.

Overall, Rhodes' work experience showcases their adaptability and expertise in various engineering and technical roles, ranging from machine shop operations to secure communications equipment repair, and from travel industry support to application engineering in the food industry.

Robert Rhodes obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Hagerstown Community College from 1988 to 1989. Robert later pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Penn State University from 1989 to 1991.

In addition to their formal education, Robert Rhodes has received several certifications. Robert obtained the RIU Specialist certification from RIU Hotels & Resorts in December 2015. In August 2015, they received the Programming for Everybody (Python) certification from Coursera Course Certificates. Prior to that, in July 2015, they obtained the Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python certification from the same institution.

Robert Rhodes has also earned certifications in the field of tourism and hospitality. In March 2015, they became an AMResorts Master Agent. Robert achieved the Cancun Specialist certification from the Cancun Tourism Institute in December 2014, followed by the Palace Resorts Specialist certification from Palace Resorts in the same month. In November 2014, they obtained the Sandals Resort Specialist certification from Sandals Resorts.

Furthermore, they have obtained destination-specific certifications. In December 2013, they became a Hawaii Destination Specialist from the Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau. In January 2010, they obtained the Alaska Destination Specialist certification from Princess Cruises.

Lastly, Robert Rhodes obtained the Princess Commodore certification from Princess Cruises in February 2008 and the Accredited Cruise Counselor certification from CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) in February 2002.
