Robert'smost recent role at Key Technology was as the Director of Global Applications Engineering, where they created and executed plans to support the sale of the company's optical inspection and material handling solutions, while managing the global Applications Engineering staff.

Robert Rhodes obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Hagerstown Community College from 1988 to 1989. Robert later pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Penn State University from 1989 to 1991.
In addition to their formal education, Robert Rhodes has received several certifications. Robert obtained the RIU Specialist certification from RIU Hotels & Resorts in December 2015. In August 2015, they received the Programming for Everybody (Python) certification from Coursera Course Certificates. Prior to that, in July 2015, they obtained the Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python certification from the same institution.
Robert Rhodes has also earned certifications in the field of tourism and hospitality. In March 2015, they became an AMResorts Master Agent. Robert achieved the Cancun Specialist certification from the Cancun Tourism Institute in December 2014, followed by the Palace Resorts Specialist certification from Palace Resorts in the same month. In November 2014, they obtained the Sandals Resort Specialist certification from Sandals Resorts.
Furthermore, they have obtained destination-specific certifications. In December 2013, they became a Hawaii Destination Specialist from the Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau. In January 2010, they obtained the Alaska Destination Specialist certification from Princess Cruises.
Lastly, Robert Rhodes obtained the Princess Commodore certification from Princess Cruises in February 2008 and the Accredited Cruise Counselor certification from CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) in February 2002.
