Cindy Tempel

Cindy Tempel, PMP, CSM, is an accomplished Information Technology Project Management Consultant at Keyera since July 2019 and has co-founded Pendulum Innovation, where Cindy serves as a Management Consultant. Previously, Cindy held significant roles at TransAlta, including Manager of Business & Technology Optimization in Commodity Risk, and at Shell, where responsibilities included Project and Program Management for major initiatives such as the LNG Canada Computerized Maintenance Management System and the Scotford Upgrader engineering data warehouse project. Cindy has a strong foundation in IT management from earlier positions at Spectra Energy, where contributions included annual capital budgeting, project delivery, and team leadership from roles spanning QA Team Lead to IT Manager. Cindy's formal education includes an Architectural Technology degree from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, earned between 1986 and 1988.
