Gün Akkor

Gün Akkor is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in product management and engineering leadership across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Chief Product and Technology Officer at Keyfactor and as an Independent Technical Advisor at CloudFence, Akkor previously held the position of VP of Engineering and Product at Proofpoint, where notable achievements included leading the integration of Tessian Group and significantly scaling product offerings. With past roles at Tessian, Finite State, Sevco Security, and Carbon Black, Akkor has consistently driven product growth, efficiency improvements, and architectural advancements. Akkor holds a PhD and MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland, complemented by additional degrees from Bilkent University and Middle East Technical University.
