Bas Alblas

Bas Alblas is an experienced executive with a strong background in the food industry. Currently serving as the Director and Owner of Costa Firma Advisory since January 2021, Bas also holds various roles including Member of the Supervisory Board at Royal Cosun and Royal A-ware, and Member of the Board of Advisors at Frostkrone Food Group. Bas chairs the Supervisory Board of KeyGene and has held significant leadership positions such as CEO of Lamb Weston Meijer and Managing Director at VION Food Group and Leerdammer Company BV. Bas's career began at Unilever, where several positions were held from 1987 to 2000. Bas obtained a Master's degree in Food Technology and Processing from Wageningen University & Research between 1978 and 1983 and has been involved with DeNieuweCommissaris since 2012.
