Ton Kuipers

Ton Kuipers is an experienced professional in the horticultural industry, currently serving as Managing Director and General Manager at Takii Europe B.V. since March 2015. Kuipers also holds several key roles, including Member of The Supervisory Board at KeyGene and Member of the Board of Directors at Vikima Seed A/S, both since May 2021, along with the position of Chairman at Herenboeren aan den Drecht, starting in June 2021. Prior to these roles, significant experience includes serving as Plant Operations Lead EMEA and Commercial Lead for Spain and Portugal at Monsanto Company from October 2009 to February 2015, as well as Export Manager and Product Manager at De Ruiter Seeds. Ton Kuipers holds an Engineer's degree in Applied Horticulture and Horticultural Business Services from HBO University, which was completed between 1987 and 1990.
