Gareth Smith

Gareth Smith is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in product management and development. Currently serving as General Manager at Keysight Technologies since February 2021, Gareth previously held key roles at Eggplant, including CTO and VP of Products and Solutions, where responsibility encompassed product strategy and innovation. A tenure at Software AG involved serving as VP of Solution R&D and Director of Product Management, contributing to significant product advancements and successful sales efforts, such as the "IoT Analytics" kit. Gareth's earlier positions at Progress Software and Apama included driving product management and architecture initiatives, while also serving academic roles as an Honorary Lecturer and Lecturer in Computer Science. Notably, Gareth holds a PhD in Computer Science from Lancaster University, specializing in distributed, collaborative user interface technology.
