Joaquin Torrecilla

Joaquin Torrecilla is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in the communications sector, currently serving as Chief Technologist at Keysight Technologies since February 2019. In this role, Joaquin leads initiatives in new fields such as NR NTN and cybersecurity for 5G networks, and acts as the lead architect for next-generation wireless solutions and 6G technology. Concurrently, Joaquin holds the position of Honorary Fellow at Universidad de Málaga, lecturing on technology innovation and wireless technologies. Previous roles include CTO at DEKRA Testing and Certification, where Joaquin drove strategic advancements in cybersecurity and connected vehicles, and various key positions at Keysight Technologies and Agilent Technologies, where significant contributions to 5G test solutions and product evolution were made. Joaquin's academic background includes a Master's in Telecommunications from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and advanced business management training from Instituto Internacional San Telmo.
