Jonathan Helfman is a seasoned software research scientist with extensive experience in interaction design and information visualization. Currently at Keysight Technologies since August 2014, Jonathan is an interaction designer and prototyper, responsible for improving perceptual usability through the Keysight Color Visualization Standard. Previously, at Agilent Technologies, Jonathan focused on designing a mobile map application for visualizing signal transmission directions. During tenure at Oracle, Jonathan implemented a Treemap visualization component and collaborated with internal teams to resolve complex interaction challenges. Jonathan's early career included innovative work at FXPAL, winning awards for interactive design, and extensive research at AT&T Labs on human-computer interaction and interactive systems. Jonathan holds a PhD and MS in Computer Science with a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction from The University of New Mexico and Columbia University, respectively, and an AB in Applied Math and Visual & Environmental Studies from Harvard University.
