Dr. Barford’s work has been recognized and adopted by major organizations including Apple, Boeing, and NASA, and they have published research on the ethics of AI-enabled software systems. In addition to their technical roles, they serve as an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno, and are an ordained priest of the Church of England. Dr. Barford earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cornell University.
