Luca Mapelli is the R&D Director and a member of the Board of Directors at Keysight Technologies in Italy, overseeing a multi-site team of over 80 individuals focused on 4G and 5G protocol stack development while also heading the 6G solution development. From 2016 to 2021, Luca served as a project and L3 team manager, coordinating UE emulation projects and managing customer interactions for R&D discussions. Prior experiences include roles as a telecommunication engineer and software developer from 2004 to 2016, with expertise in LTE/5G network architectures and protocols. Luca earned a degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2004.
