Sergio Pinna is an experienced photonics researcher and engineer currently working as a Photonics R&D Researcher at Keysight Technologies since February 2023. Prior to this role, Pinna held positions at Rockley Photonics Inc. as a Staff and Senior Photonics Design Engineer from October 2020 to January 2023 and worked as a Project Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher at UC Santa Barbara from April 2017 to October 2020. Earlier experience includes a postdoctoral role at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna from November 2010 to February 2017, where Pinna also completed a Ph.D. Pinna's academic background includes a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Università di Pisa and a visiting scholar role at Boston University's Integrated Photonics Lab.
