Steffen Beyme

Steffen Beyme is a seasoned professional in the field of electrical and computer engineering, currently serving as a Baseband Architect at Keysight Technologies since June 2017. Beyme specializes in massive MU-MIMO channel and multi-mode beamforming emulation, testing, analysis, and visualization, with a focus on developing ML-enabled 5G/6G RANs. Previous experience includes roles as a System Architect at VIAVI Solutions, where Beyme worked on next-gen baseband architecture for LTE-Advanced and pre-standard 5G, and as a Senior Systems Engineer at ENBALA Power Networks, where Beyme developed a real-time optimization solution for Smart Grid applications. Beyme co-founded Dyaptive Systems, pioneering mobile network infrastructure testing and building a successful business around it. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. from The University of British Columbia and a Master's Degree from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
