JAC Cook is a dynamic communicator and creator, currently serving as a Video Production Project Contractor for the Disaster Response Interpreting Program at the Norcal Center On Deafness. They are the founder of Velvet Hands, LLC, where they provide ASL theatrical interpreting services and direct artistic sign language. With extensive experience in sales, marketing, and community education, JAC held previous leadership roles at Purple Communications and the California School for the Deaf, Fremont. They are also a Certified Health and Wellness Coach with Optavia and a World Language Instructor at the Online Academy - American School for the Deaf. JAC holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Gallaudet University and an Adult Credential from the University of California, Berkeley.
