Mara Lederman is an academic turned tech entrepreneur who serves as the co-founder and COO of Signal 1, a health technology company focused on leveraging AI in the healthcare industry. With over 20 years of experience as a Professor of Strategy at the University of Toronto, Mara brings a wealth of knowledge in strategy and technology. They previously led the Creative Destruction Lab-Toronto, implementing innovative technology and industry streams during their tenure. Currently, Mara also works as a Consulting Expert at Keystone Strategy and has contributed to NEXT Canada as a faculty member, educating aspiring entrepreneurs. They earned their degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 1998 and 2003.
