Mark Merriman

Mark Merriman is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently retired, Mark previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at KEYW Corporation from February 2014 to February 2024, contributing to the development of the Automated Country Assessment tool for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. Prior to this, Mark served as Principal Software Engineer at BAE Systems and Alphatech, leading the development of advanced Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance planning systems. Additional experience includes development management at MKS and group leadership roles at CMC and ICL, with a strong background in software tool development and user interface design. Mark's educational credentials feature a PhD program in Information Technology from George Mason University and significant studies in Computer Science and Mathematics at prestigious institutions, including Boston University and Harvard University.
