David Rieber is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the field of finance and law. Currently serving as Teamleiter Recht at KfW since December 2008, Rieber leads a team of specialized in-house lawyers, focusing on transactional advisory in mobility and infrastructure, participation in the Corona special program, and energy financing. In a previous role as Kommissarische Abteilungsleitung Individualfinanzierung Unternehmen, Rieber was responsible for energy financing and product development related to hydrogen promotion. Earlier experience includes roles at Sidley Austin LLP as an Associate, where expertise was developed in real estate finance and financing transactions, and at Gesper Hermes und Partner as a Rechtsanwalt, specializing in SME consulting and banking law. Rieber holds a LL.M. from UCL and two state examination degrees in law from the University of Tübingen and Landgericht Mannheim.
