Fiona Löwe is a Development Economist currently working as a Portfolio Manager in Financial Cooperation at KfW, focusing on Energy & Infrastructure in West Africa. Fiona has previously held roles such as Trainee in Financial Development Cooperation and Intern in Financial System Development at KfW Development Bank. They served as a Research Fellow at the Regional Academy on the United Nations and as a Research Assistant in Development Economics at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies. Fiona's early career includes experiences as a Project Associate at the Food Fortification Initiative with BASF and as an Intern in Foreign Economic Policy at the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie. Fiona holds a Master’s degree in International Economics from Georg-August-Universität Göttingen and Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, along with a Bachelor's degree from Universität Bayreuth.
