J. Menzel

J. Menzel currently serves as the Head of IT at KfW since January 2024, previously holding the position of Leiter IT-Produktmanagement at the same organization. Prior experience includes roles at NORD/LB as Leiter IT Banksteuerungssysteme and Stv. Leiter Organisation/IT, managing a team of 65 employees and overseeing an annual budget of 75 million euros from April 2009 to February 2016. From May 2003 to March 2009, J. Menzel worked at HSH Nordbank as Leiter IT-Strategie und Architektur and Stv. Leiter IT/Organisation, leading a significant IT fusion program and implementing efficiency and cost strategies. Earlier roles include Programmanager IT-Fusion at LB Kiel and Engagementmanager and Projektleiter Großbanken at IBM. J. Menzel holds a Diploma in Professional Management from The Open University and a Diplom in Physics from The University of Freiburg.
