Maja Bott is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital transformation, governance, and project management in international development. Currently serving as a Senior Digital Transformation Advisor at KfW since August 2011, Maja focuses on the digital transformation of the German financial cooperation and geodata management. Previous roles include Principal Portfolio Manager in the Governance and Peace Division overseeing vocational training and renewable energy projects in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq, as well as a Principal Project Manager in West Africa managing governance and infrastructure investments in Mali, Madagascar, and Togo. Maja's career also includes a tenure as Programme Specialist at UNDP Sudan, developing recovery and employment programs, and an Economic Advisor position, where Maja contributed to the private sector development strategy. As a founding member of the board at FIWM e.V., Maja has demonstrated commitment to governance and development initiatives. Maja holds a Master's degree in Economics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
