Markus Schmid is a seasoned professional in Data Science and AI with extensive experience in various leadership roles. They served as a Senior Projektleiter at DekaBank from 2006 to 2015 and later led IT systems in sales management at DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale until 2022. Currently, Markus is the Abteilungsdirektor for Customer Analytics & Data Science at KfW and heads the Data Intelligence Unit at BaFin until 2025.
