Stefan Peiß

Stefan Peiß is currently the CRO at KfW. Prior to this, they were with KfW IPEX-Bank, KfW, and BayernLB. Stefan has over 25 years of experience in the banking and financial industry. Stefan started their career as a bank teller with BayernLB in 1989 and rose through the ranks to become the head of several departments, including Risk Operations, Group Risk Control, and Portfolio Management. In 2009, Stefan was appointed Bereichsleiter Risikomanagement und –controlling at KfW, a position they held until 2015. Stefan has been with KfW since January 2009 and is currently the CRO.

Stefan Peiß studied business administration at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and was promoted to Dr. oec. publ. at the Chair of Business and Risk Research and Insurance Economics also at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.

Their manager is Stefan Wintels, CEO. They work with Melanie Kehr - CIO, Bernd Loewen - CFO.
