Since June 2019, Dr. Yannick Scheid has served as a Senior Technical Advisor at KfW Development Bank, focusing on infrastructure development programs in Eastern Africa. They began their career at Lahmeyer International GmbH, working as an engineer and project manager in dam and hydropower engineering, where they contributed to significant projects like the 1,250 MW Merowe hydropower plant in Sudan. Yannick holds a Dipl.-Ing. in Civil Engineering from Darmstadt University of Technology and is pursuing a Dr.techn. at Graz University of Technology.
