Mark Nakhla

EVP, Research at Kharon

Mark Nakhla has worked for nine different organizations since 2002. Mark began their career as a Sanctions Analyst at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where they worked from 2002 to 2011. Mark then moved to the Office of the Secretary of Defense as a Policy Advisor from 2006 to 2008. During this time, they also worked as a Program Analyst at the United States Department of Defense. From 2008 to 2009, they served as a Security Cooperation Advisor for the US Marine Corps. Mark then moved to Booz Allen Hamilton as an Associate from 2008 to 2011. Following this, they worked as a Research Assistant at The Washington Institute For Near East Policy from 2005 to 2013. Mark then became a Director at The Camstoll Group LLC from 2013 to 2016. Most recently, they have been serving as the Executive Vice President of Research at Kharon since 2016.

Mark Nakhla has a Master of Arts (M.A.) in International Relations and National Security Studies from Georgetown University, which they obtained in 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Government and International Affairs from George Mason University - Schar School of Policy and Government.
