William Harrington has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2009 with Rice Consulting, LLC, where they held the roles of Staff Assistant and Political Fundraising Trainee. In 2010, they interned at Earth Day Network. In 2011, they interned at the Baltimore Council on Foreign Affairs and worked as an Assistant Manager at The Melting Pot Restaurants. In 2013, they worked as a Server at Morton's The Steakhouse. In 2014, they held the roles of Faculty Assistant and Intern, Global Terrorism Database at the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START), and Editor-in-Chief and Senior Editor at the International Affairs Review (Web and Print Editions). In 2015, they interned at the Dept of the Treasury/Financial Crimes Enforcement Network. Finally, from 2016 to the present, they have held the roles of Director of Client Services, Client Services Manager, Senior Analyst, and Analyst at Kharon.

William Harrington obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Security Policy Studies from The George Washington University between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Relations and English from Towson University between 2005 and 2010.
