The Khaya Woods Group invests in African Mahogany plantations in Brazil since 2008, being the national leader in this sector. The Group is formed by Brazilian shareholders and has 3 companies based in Minas Gerais, exclusively dedicated to the African Mahogany plantation and operating in a coordinated manner by the name of Khaya Woods. The Group has 1,400 hectares of African Mahogany (Khaya Grandifoliola) already planted and an operational sawmill and Kiln Dryer that provide high quality hardwood lumber to the market.The plantations are located in 3 farms in Northern Minas Gerais: Foco Agropecuária, Meta Agropecuaria and Meta Florestas.
