Rooted in Thailand’s rice fields, Khokbawa Group is on a mission to transform agricultural waste into high-quality biochar, revitalizing soils and supporting sustainable farming worldwide.

Started in 2021 in Udon Thani, we draw inspiration from traditional charcoal-making and combine it with modern pyrolysis technology. Our Khokbawa Steel Charcoal Furnace converts rice husks and other residues into biochar that enriches soil, captures carbon, and strengthens local economies.

What We Do
We design clean, scalable systems for biochar production and supply premium biochar to farmers, cooperatives, and retailers. Our solutions improve soil fertility, reduce water use, and help crops thrive without heavy reliance on chemicals. Each ton of biochar sequesters up to three tons of carbon dioxide, making it a practical tool for climate resilience.

Our Impact
As a French-Thai company, we bridge Thai resourcefulness with global sustainability needs, delivering certified biochar to European markets while building local production in Thailand. Our work supports farmers, restores land, and creates value from what was once considered waste.

Looking Ahead
By 2030, we aim to empower thousands of farmers with biochar and expand our technology across Asia and Africa, fostering sustainable agriculture and community-driven growth.

Let’s Connect
Whether you’re a farmer, distributor, or sustainability advocate, we’d love to work together to build a future where healthy soil and thriving communities go hand in hand. Reach out to join us in this journey.
