In the early 1950s (1330s), Haj Seyed Baqer Oraee Mirzamani founded Khorasan Gypsum Company with a vision to produce and supply high-quality gypsum for the construction industry. Committed to excellence, he conducted extensive research across Khorasan, identifying and testing multiple gypsum deposits. After years of exploration and trial production, his efforts led to the establishment of Khorasan Gypsum Company (Private Joint Stock) in 1974 (1353) in partnership with the renowned Babcock-BHS. The facility was strategically built in Robat Sefid, 70 kilometers from Mashhad.

By 1987 (1366), production capacity expanded to 1,000 tons per day with significant upgrades. Between 1985 and 2007 (1364 to 1386), development projects increased white gypsum production to 3,000 tons per day while introducing new products such as Aj Gypsum, prefabricated wall panels, and premium gypsum to meet market demands.

Over the years, Khorasan Gypsum has become more than just a company—it has been home to thousands of dedicated employees, many from the same families, with three generations working at our factory. As the region’s largest employer, we are a pillar of economic stability, providing security and opportunity to countless families who see Khorasan Gypsum as a foundation for their future.
