Nicklas Linz started their work experience as a Research Assistant at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) in November 2014. Nicklas then became a Researcher at the same company in September 2016 and held this role until December 2019. In March 2017, they joined ki:elements as the Chief Executive Officer.
Nicklas Linz has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from Universität des Saarlandes. Nicklas also holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from the same university. Additionally, Nicklas has obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science from Universität des Saarlandes. ki:elements develops speech based biomarkers for a number of different indications, including Alzheimer’s disease, Schizophrenia, COPD, and many more. We work with the leading life science companies to bring speech biomarkers into clinical trials and real world scenarios. ki:elements was founded in 2017 as a spin-off of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence as an interdisciplinary team of AI-experts, clinicians, software developers, and psychologists.
