Michael Laager is currently serving as the Landrat of Kanton Glarus, a position they have held since 2024. Previously, they were Geschäftsführer of KIBAG Infra in 2013 and worked as a Bauingenieur at Knecht & Würmli from 2008 to 2009. Michael started their career as a Bauzeichner at TBF-Marti AG and P. Meier & Partner AG between 1998 and 2005. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Bauingenieur from HSR Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil (2005-2008) and an Executive MBA from Universität St.Gallen (2017-2019).
