Jackie Blair has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jackie began their career in education in 1997 as a Year 7 Teacher at Southern Cross Campus. Jackie then worked as a Primary Teacher in various LA teaching posts before becoming the Head of Year 7 at Two Mile Ash Middle School.

In 2004, Jackie joined Seafield Residential School as the Principal Teacher for ages 5-14. After three years, they moved to Starley Hall as a Principal Teacher. In 2008, they joined Spark of Genius as the Director of Quality Improvement & Policy before being promoted to Director of Education in 2014. Jackie'srole at Spark of Genius ended in 2019.

Jackie also gained experience at Education Scotland as an Associate Assessor, supporting special school inspections. Jackie started this role in 2018.

Currently, Jackie is working at Kibble, where they joined in 2019 as the Deputy Headteacher. In October 2020, they were promoted to the Head of Operations for all of Kibble's Education Services, including the Primary School, Secondary School, Safe Centre, and Skills Academy.

Jackie Blair's education history begins in 1986 when they attended Greenock High School. Jackie completed their secondary education there from 1986 to 1991. Following high school, they went on to attend the University of Strathclyde from 1992 to 1996, where they earned their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Honours degree in Primary Teaching. After several years of teaching, Jackie pursued further education at the University of Stirling from 2013 to 2014, where they completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Child Protection and Welfare, with a focus on Applied Sciences. Most recently, they attended the University of Strathclyde from 2016 to 2019, where they obtained their Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Educational Leadership.
