Jonathan Sooley is an experienced construction professional with a strong background in heavy equipment operation and supervisory roles. Currently serving as a General Foreman at Kichton Contracting Ltd. since April 2022, Jonathan has previously held several positions, including Supervisor and Foreman at North American Construction Group, where experience was gained from October 2020 to October 2022. Jonathan's career includes extensive roles as a Heavy Equipment Operator at various companies, including Vortex Energy Services Ltd, BBE Hydro Constructors LP, and Tervita Corporation, among others. Jonathan holds an Equipment Operators Diploma from Operating Engineers College, completed in 2007, and has foundational education from Holy Spirit High School.

Kichton Contracting Ltd (KCL) has been in business since 1963 and is based out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. KCL is classified as a medium sized civil earthworks contractor. Our work ranges from residential earthworks, commercial site development to industrial projects. Our services include grading design for all types of new commercial and industrial sites along with retrofitting existing sites to accommodate new site development. Once we have satisfied the client with the design, we extend our services to provide the equipment, labour and materials necessary to complete the work. With our experience in both the civil and building construction industry we are able to provide a complete project. At KCL we strive to stay current with new industry regulations and requirements. It is our intent to become well versed in all aspects of the construction industry. We have acquired experienced personnel and a wide range of equipment to facilitate all of the work we have completed to date. Employee safety is very important to us; we have even obtained a COR (Certification of Recognition) to show our dedication to safety standards. To ensure that it stays a priority we have made it an integral component in our project planning process. Using our present knowledge to gain new knowledge in different areas of work helps keep KCL versatile, competitive and cost effective.
