Subrata Saha

Subrata Saha has a diverse range of experience in various software development roles. Subrata began their career in 2005 as a Software Engineer at Ipunity Communication Pvt Ltd, where they worked on Enterprise Service Bus implementation using Oracle AQ JMS Bus. In 2008, they joined FaceTime Communications as a Senior Software Engineer, leading the development of a new product called INSIGHT. Subrata then joined Cisco in 2010 as a Senior Technical Lead, where they gained exposure in designing server components for Head End Systems and developed components using technologies such as Spring, Spring Boot, Eureka, Kafka, and Achilles. In 2018, they transitioned to Oracle as a Principal Member of Technical Staff, where they developed Identity and Access Management/Key Management Service for the Oracle Cloud. Most recently, Subrata joined Kickdrum in 2019 as a Software Architect, working on solving architecture-design-data modeling-coding problems for clients using the latest technologies for AWS cloud.

Subrata Saha completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with a major in Physics and Mathematics at Gauhati University from 1998 to 2001. Afterward, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (PGDIT) at Manipal Academy of Higher Education from 2001 to 2002. Later, they attended Assam Engineering College (A.E.C) and obtained a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree in Computer Science from 2002 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Subrata Saha also obtained a certification in Learning Terraform from Lynda.com in October 2018.
