Head Of Operations and Risk Research at Kidas

Tali Bitner began their professional career in 2010 as a Translator (Student Position) for the Ministry of Justice in Bee’r Sheva city, translating legal documents from Arabic to Hebrew. In 2012, they joined the Refugee Statue Department (RSD) as an Officer in the Population & Immigration Office at the Ministry of Interior. Tali was responsible for interviewing asylum seekers and researching their homeland and personal background. In 2014, Tali became a Research Assistant in the Terrorism and Low Intensity Conflict Department at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS). Tali participated and led research projects, collecting materials and writing articles, papers and blog posts, as well as managing the department's social media networks. In 2016, Tali was a Senior Intelligence Analyst at the Research Department of the Israel Ministry of Defense. Tali was responsible for research tasks as part of a strategic team, and owned long-term projects with multiple stakeholders in the organization. In 2018, Tali became the Head of Research in the Child Online Protection Bureau at the Israel Ministry of Public Security. Her role included collecting materials, writing research papers, and creating a new knowledge base with local and global literature. Most recently, in 2021, Tali was appointed Head Of Operations and Risk Research at Kidas.

Tali Bitner received their Bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern Studies & Politics & Government from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2012. Tali then went on to receive their Master's degree in Security from Tel Aviv University in 2017.
