Avinash Chava

Avinash Chava is currently the Lead IoT Security Architect at Kidde, where they lead the secure-by-design strategy for connected fire safety systems and smart life protection devices. They define end-to-end security architectures that encompass embedded devices, cloud platforms, mobile interfaces, and IoT gateways. Previously, Avinash worked as a Product Security Architect at Honeywell, delivering security designs for industrial and smart energy systems. With a background in Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) and experience as an L3 SOC analyst, Avinash possesses strong operational security insights that enhance architecture and product hardening. They hold a postgraduate degree in Cyber Security from the Great Lakes Institute of Management.
